The Turn & Learn 0-120 Number
Board is a powerful educational resource for exploring number
patterns and relationships. Its most impressive features are the
option to begin activities at either zero or one and to explore
the pattern of numbers beyond 100.

The board consists of numbered cubes that can be rotated
One face of the cube has a white number
One face a yellow number
One face is blank
The fourth face has a white dot
Where to begin…Zero or One?
There are two schools of thought among teachers in regard to
when children should first be introduced to zero. Some feel that
introducing the concept of zero too early is confusing - the
child naturally counts it as 'one'. Turning the first column of
cubes on The Turn & Learn Board to blank faces accommodates this
philosophy. Others feel comfortable using zero. Turning the last
column of cubes to blank accomplishes this.
Counting Past 100
Children often find it difficult to count past 100. They get to
109 and say 200. Using the Turn & Learn 0-120 Number Board helps
overcome these conceptual misunderstandings.
